Our Top 5 Pâté Recipes for Summer 2021:

When the sun’s out, no-fuss meals that are full of flavor are in. Read on below as we highlight our top 5 pâté recipes for summer 2021.

Avocado Toast

Give this foodie favorite a gourmet flair and elevate your avocado toast by spreading a layer of our velvety-smooth Black Peppercorn Mousse.

Delicately gloss the Mousse on toasted whole-grain bread, and then top it with mashed avocado. Season lightly with salt and pepper. For added flavor, sprinkle a few diced cherry tomatoes or onions on top. And if you’re looking to get really fancy with it, sprinkle on some chopped almonds and a drizzle of smoked olive oil. Yum!

Pita Pockets

Next time you’re tempted to reach into the freezer for a Hot Pocket, try this far more satisfying recipe instead.

Simply boil two eggs to your preferred consistency a softer boiled egg lends more creaminess. Once cooked, let the eggs cool, peel them, and chop. Stir in two generous spoonfuls of our Truffle Mousse and season to your preference. Fill the pita with your Mousse mixture, crunchy lettuce, and tomatoes that’s it!

Jam-packed with protein and healthy grains, this pita pocket is the perfect pick-me-up (and way, way healthier than that Hot Pocket you’ve been eyeing!).

Grilled Vegetables

As delicious as it is healthy, all that you need for this easy plant-based recipe is a colorful mix of summer vegetables and our Tomato Basil Vegan Pâté.

Slice the vegetables (think: zucchini, squash, and peppers) into long slices and place them on the grill. Once toasted to perfection and slightly charred, spread a thin layer of the Tomato Basil Vegan Pâté onto them and enjoy as is. Yes, it’s that easy!

Stuffed Peppers

Stuffed peppers are an almost universally enjoyed dish, and they’re easy to make meatless.

One recipe we love is stuffed red bell peppers with our Curry and Bell Pepper Pâté, couscous, and smoked cheddar. For a summertime twist, prepare all ingredients that need to be cooked indoors, then wrap the bell peppers in aluminum foil and throw them on the grill until just tender. Easy and delicious? Count us in!

Chicken and Veal Pâté + Spicy Dijon Mustard Sandwich

Let’s face it: Nothing beats a sandwich for lunch. And when it comes to a pâté sandwich, our Chicken and Veal Coarse Cut makes for a decadent base and is our inspiration behind this go-to recipe.

Slice a fresh baguette, spread a generous helping of spicy dijon mustard, and stack on your Chicken and Veal Coarse Cut Pâté. Add fresh fennel for a little crunch (or a good ‘ol bag of chips!), and voila.

Pro tip: This recipe requires minimal prep work as-is, but can easily be jazzed up with cracked pepper, spinach, mixed fresh herbs, or sliced tomatoes.

Our Winter Pâté Picks for a Snowy Night In

Our Winter Pâté Picks for a Snowy Night In

Feeling bogged down by cold weather blues? Then it may be time to head to the kitchen.

When there’s a chill in the air, nothing beats a hearty, comfort meal. Which leads us to ask: What’s more hearty or comforting than pâté? The answer: nothing. Plus, if you’re stuck inside all daywhether due to frigid temperatures or heavy snowfallyou might as well eat some damn good food.

So, without further ado, here are our top three pâté picks for a winter night in.

Grand Marnier

Offering a savory experience that’s hearty but not overpowering, a bite of Grand Marnier pâté will leave your palate with lingering flavors of cognac and fresh orange. In other words, it’s as comforting as a warm blanket.

For a light and quick winter snack, we suggest cubing Grand Marnier pâté and spearing it on a toothpick as you binge-watch your favorite TV show. Craving something a bit heavier? Pick your favorite crusty French bread and add lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles for an effortless sandwich.

Pro tip: Try Grand Marnier with a medium bodied red wine, such as Merlot. Trust us— you won’t regret it.

Truffle Mousse

Full-flavored and easy to spread, Truffle Mousse pâté boasts a delightful mixture of rich flavors and creamy, delicate textures perfect for cozying up on the couch.

For pairing, enjoy by spreading over a simple baguette or a toasted cracker. Watching your figure? Don’t fret: Truffle Mousse pâté also pairs wonderfully with salads, creating an instantly light and satisfying meal.

If you’re looking for a buzz, opt for a glass of Rosé or Chardonnay which will bring out the earthy tones of the truffle and the best of the wild mushroom flavor.

Tomato Basil

Vegans, rejoice! Tomato Basil pâté is a totally meat-free option that’s low in fat and calories, clocking in at just 30 calories per serving.

For a quick and refreshing meal that channels Mediterranean cuisine, pair Tomato Basil with a green salad that incorporates balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. If you’re pining for some carbs (aren’t we all?), serve it with sliced whole grain breads and toppings of your choice for a delicious mini sandwich.

Other serving options include: flax crackers, raw pizza crusts, or dip for fresh veggies.

Happy eating!

Easy Living: Effortless No-Cook Meals

A wise person once said, “The best meals are the ones I don’t have to cook myself.”

Okay, that person was more lazy than wise, but we’re lying to ourselves if that simple fact isn’t true. Sometimes, food you don’t have to cook is the absolute best— and no, we’re not just referring to take-out.

Below, check out our favorite no-cook meals.

Cold Cut Salad. If you think salads are basic, wake up your imagination! From fruits to veggies, to caesar dressing to buffalo ranch, your heaping serving of salad is as flavorful as your mind allows. Cold cuts and cheeses are great companions to veggies of all kinds.

Greek-Style Yogurt and Deli Meat Stuffed Peppers. Yes, that’s a leap from salad— but it’s no less complicated and can be a nice substitution for a sandwich. Grab big bell peppers, slice them in half and spoon out the seeds. Then, spread a thin layer of yogurt on the inside of the pepper before adding your choice of meat and cheese (any type will do, as there is no rulebook for this sort of thing, is there?). Add a little more yogurt, cheese and spices or herbs on top to finish it off. As a bonus, you can add as many smaller veggies as you can fit for more eye-popping flavor combinations.

Lunch Kebabs. If those two words alone don’t inspire you to rummage through your fridge and see what you can spear onto a pointy stick, here’s some inspiration: lunch meat (your choice), veggie (preferably the tangy, flavorful kind, like an olive or pepper), crusty bread(like a piece of sourdough), and cheese (your choice).

There’s no denying the ultimate no-cook meal: pâté. Pâté is delicious, and adventurous yet simpleespecially when combined with a nearly limitless amount of sides. Got cucumbers? You’ve got something to smear pâté over. Hamburger buns, but no patties? Who needs them when you’ve got pâté! Something crunchy like crackers? Bring it over and get to munching.
