Brussel Sprouts


  • 1 – 1.5 lb brussel sprouts
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 a slice of Tomato Basil Pâté, cubed


  • Preheat oven to 400F
  • Cut off the brown ends of the brussel sprouts. Mix them in a bowl with the olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour them on a sheet pan and roast for 35 – 40 minutes, until crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Shake ban occasionally to brown the sprouts evenly
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle with extra salt
  • Mix in the Tomato Basil Pâté
  • Serve with a drizzle of balsamic glaze
