Paté Rendezvous:
Paté spreads with hummus, breads and pickles

Hummus and mousse style pate are both wonderful and useful spreads that are available in a variety of flavors. When used together they are fantastic especially when enjoyed with the crunch of crusty bread and pickles.

Hummus is made from mashed chickpeas and can be made with all sorts of spices and herbs. There are many premade versions available in different flavors. Most types of Hummus have relatively mild flavors to go along with their creamy texture, making them nice pairs for our unique varieties of spreadable patés.

When enjoying paté and hummus side by side, adding some cornichons and crunchy French baguette makes the experience truly delicious. Cornichons are small pickles made from gherkin cucumbers. They offer a zesty spark of flavor to contrast the creaminess of paté and hummus

This delicious blend of crunch and tart is even better with some French baguette. A crisp crust and soft, spongy inside makes baguette an ideal canvas for spreading and savoring paté and hummus combinations.

Suitable for a lively cold party appetizer platter, other additions – like cherry tomatoes, red peppers and raw vegetables – can be served alongside the paté, hummus and pickles.

Look for hummus with basil, red pepper and garlic, which feature enticing flavors while maintaining a mellow overall profile. Plain hummus with a bit of salt and pepper is also an excellent choice to enjoy alongside all of our meat, poultry and vegetable patés.
