Gourmet sandwiches are a foodie phenomenon. Restaurants and cafes worldwide are making new and unique sandwich combinations – so why not follow suit at home?

Alexian Pâté takes sandwiches from standard to 5-star indulgence. We suggest something hot – savoring a warm sandwich on a cool fall night is a recipe for seasonal delight.

Here are a few of our favorite savory sandwich flavors. Take each pairing as a basic guide and feel free to add your own creative culinary flare. All pairings can be prepared open-faced with the bread of your choice and heated under a broiler.

- Make an Alexian Pâté Melt by draping your favorite country style pâté, like our Chicken & Veal, with Swiss cheese, pickles and spicy mustard.

- Prosciutto and smoked Gouda Cheese with a pork-based pâté is a divine combination.
