Paté Rendezvous:
Fall Pairings are in Season

It's the season of hearty fall flavors and our robust and satisfying patés are perfect compliments to all the tasty seasonal produce.

From mushrooms to squash to apples, fall features all sorts of unique flavors, textures and colors. Hearty textures, deep colors and robust, yet mellow flavors characterize the fall produce season.

Mushrooms
Though available year round, mushrooms are truly at their flavorful best in the fall and early winter. They offer a fantastic pairing with all sorts of patés because of their smooth and mild flavor.

Firm, uncooked mushrooms offer an easy snack or appetizer – simply slice them down the middle and spread any of our mousse style patés on them. If cooking or stuffing your mushrooms, paté also is an ideal pairing. Pick equal sized mushrooms so they will cook evenly. Check out our stuffed mushroom tips for more ideas.

Cauliflower
Whether firm and crispy or creamy and smooth, cauliflower is a good-for-you delight with a flavor mild enough to let all sorts of flavors shine.

Try spreading mousse paté like our Sage and Pork mousse on large florets - sliced down the center. Cauliflower provides an ideal backdrop for the unique flavor combination pork and sage produce. Cauliflower mashes can be mixed with cubed Country Style pate such as Pheasant with Rosemary or Forest Mushroom pate!

Pumpkins & squash
Mix cubes of Pheasant and Rosemary pate or Pate de Campagne into pumpkin puree or butternut squash. The ultimate fall crop, pumpkins and squashes are delicious and a great source of vitamin C and vitamin A. Many fall squash varieties are easy to cook and feature a very mild yet unique flavor that's a great for pairing with the stronger flavors of Country Style pates.
