Reasons to celebrate

Our line of 25 country-style patés, mousses and terrines is all-natural - containing no preservatives, additives, or fillers of any kind. Alexian requires its meat, poultry and game to be certified free of added antibiotics and growth hormones in addition to being raised on a grass-fed vegetarian diet.

"We at Alexian take pride in the freshness and premium quality of our all natural products," said President Laurie Groezinger Cummins. "We also are proud of the fact that our products still 'WOW' our customers after 30 years!"

Alexian has catered to its customers' discriminating tastes as well as their health and humanitarian concerns - long before it was trendy.

"We are committed to using only the freshest, safest, most wholesome ingredients," said Cummins. "This includes real eggs, fresh vegetables, fresh dairy and pure untreated poultry, game and pork meats."

Our production practices our monitored in accordance with the U.S Department of Agriculture HACCP principles of safe and responsible production. In addition, we commission an annual independent food safety and quality inspection.

Alexian continues to invest in its production facility and in state-of-the-art equipment.

"While we've grown more than I could ever have imagined over the past 30 years," Cummins said, "We have been able to maintain flexible and responsive working relationships typical of a small business, always placing customer service as the top priority. This is reflected in the mutual trust and respect we've established with both our clients and our vendors."

Alexian's origins date back to the 16th century, in the Black Forest of Germany, where the Groezinger family was known for creating outstanding meat products. Thirty years ago, Ewald Groezinger introduced his culinary heritage to America by founding Alexian. He built his own processing plant, became quickly well known within the industry, and introduced unique specialties that are now nationally distributed under his own brand: Alexian.

Today, the company is run by Laurie Groezinger Cummins and is recognized as "A Certified Woman Owned Business Enterprise."
