Paté is perfect for two
Alexian patés can turn a simple snack into an intimate feast when paired with other full flavored food and drinks.
- Sharing a special culinary evening with that special someone doesn't require a lot of time in the kitchen. Don't labor over the stove - focus on the flavor and the company with these paté tips for two!
- Oysters offer a sharp jolt of salty flavor and are a nice pair with our creamy mousse patés. A bit exotic, they're a fun dish to share and are delicious with paté and wine.
- Speaking of wine, it makes an ideal match with any paté. Wine and paté have contrasting textures that highlight the intricate flavors of both. There's many excellent pairings – earthy red wines like Bordeaux and Pinot Noir are particularly exhilarating with our thicker country style patés.
- Paté is delicious with many cheeses, especially mild soft cheeses like Brie. Make a small cheese plate and add a couple different patés, serve it with crackers and sliced fruit and you'll have a world of flavors to share.
- For something a little more intricate try making simple tartines. The small, open-faced sandwiches can be made with any of our patés. Just toast some sliced baguette and top it with a smooth, mild cheese like Brie, some sliced apples or pears and your favorite savory paté.
