Paté Rendezvous:
Paté Stuffed Vegetables and Poultry

As a flavorful stuffing, patés are simple & satisfying

To make a chicken breast into something special, or turn a pepper into an intriguing delight, all you need is a little paté! Try these stuffing suggestions and get ready for easy gourmet dining!

Stuffed Chicken
A standard boneless chicken breast is a dinner party-worthy delight when you make a slit down one side and stuff a mousse style paté into the pocket. Try ALEXIAN Truffle Mousse or ALEXIAN Duck Liver Mousse for a true flavor infusion. Simply place the chicken on a baking sheet and cook for 25-30 minutes and voilà! Serve with vegetables like steamed carrots and broccoli.

Stuffed Pepper
If you're looking to spice up some vegetables into a main course, paté is lovely way to do it. Inside a juicy red pepper, pate can be added and mixed will all sorts of delicious items. This combination can be served with vegetable sticks for dipping. Add sliced sundried tomatoes, a few freshly grated cheese and walnuts inside the peppers for added texture.

Stuffed Mini Potatoes
Our featured paté flavor this month is Eggplant and Goat Cheese, which is perfect for simple finger foods. Try cutting some small baked red potatoes in half, then scoop out some of the inside and put paté in its place. This vegetarian paté features the freshness and saltiness of goat cheese, which adds a great zest that blends will in the warm potato.

Other options
Paté makes colorful and delicious appetizers inside Stuffed Zucchinis and Cucumber Boats. Dice any country style such as Campagne, Pheasant Rosemary or Grand Marnier and add to baked, hallowed out zucchinis or cucumbers carved into a canoe shape. Serve on a garnished tray with mixed nuts and a colorful selection of berries for a charming appetizer.
