Paté Rendezvous: :
Summer Appetizer Pairings – Paté with Fruits & More

Refreshing summer fruits offer a sweet and juicy companion to our smooth, natural patés. Serving them together with a few simple accompaniments makes a deliciously light and colorful summer appetizer platter!

First, gather three or four varieties of paté. A country style paté such as our Campagne, a smooth and creamy variety like our Chicken Liver Mousse and a vegetarian option like the Tomato-basil or this month's featured Curry and Bell Pepper are great together. Add a seafood paté such as our Salmon Terrine to round out the flavors, textures and colors!

Once you've picked the patés, chop up some green onions, olives and cornichons to add to the platter. Sliced peaches or nectarines are a summer delight and serving them with paté is a great way to create sweet and salty flavor combinations. Other summer fruits like blueberries, raspberries, peaches and melons are great additions, too.

"Can't miss" fruit and paté pairings include lemon slices with Salmon Terrine, sliced strawberries, raspberries, or red currants with chicken liver mouse and diced pineapple with Paté de Campagne!

For the finishing touch, include spicy mustard and some sliced pita bread, ciabatta or baguette. Don't forget carrot and celery sticks to complete the palate.

Then arrange everything on simple white serving dishes to show off the vibrant colors - and enjoy!
