Delectable patés made with conservation & animal welfare in mind

From ingredients to packaging, Alexian is dedicated to natural and healthy foods made in a humane and environmentally sustainable way.

That means there's no artificial powders, flavorings, or colors in our patés. You also won't find any chemical preservatives, binders, or moisture retainers. When it comes to our meats, the animals are not treated with antibiotics or growth stimulants. Fed vegetarian or grain diets, they live in minimal confinement on farms dedicated to their health and safety.

Our pork, duck, pheasant, turkey, veal and chicken meats come from carefully selected vendors who certify that their breeding and raising practices are humane and sensitive to the good health and well being of their animals.

As for our packaging, Alexian paté comes in materials that wherever possible are certified as being made using principles of sustainability and conservation. Our printed cardboard sleeves are sourced from renewable forests in protected, sustainable communities and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and RainForest Alliance. Our cartons are made with recycled material and printed with water-based ink.

Made in New Jersey
All Alexian Patés are made in our plant near the New Jersey shore. Our kitchens and production practices are inspected daily by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and annually by Steritech, Inc, an independent, nationally recognized food safety service. Alexian's 23 pate and mousse products are made from recipes that call for all natural ingredients in their original, elemental form.
