Eggplant and Goat Cheese Pâté Serving suggestions:

1: Salads
Serve the pâté alongside slices of crunchy bread and a simple side salad topped with croutons, sliced tomatoes, a crumble of plain goat cheese, and a mild dressing. Or cut the pâté into cubes and add to an entrée-sized salad.

2: Lettuce wraps
For a different salad substitute, take large Romaine lettuce leaves, pat them dry, spread pâté on one side and roll the lettuce leaf up tightly. Just add a toothpick to keep the wrap together, and you have yourself a great party appetizer. For added crunch and flavor, add shredded chicken and the chopped vegetables of your choice to your wrap.

3: Simple tartines
Tartines, which are open-faced sandwiches on sliced bread or thick crackers, come in all shapes and sizes. They make delicious snacks or party finger foods and can be made in minutes. A particularly simple and delicious tartine can be made with our Eggplant and Goat Cheese Pâté and a dollop of fresh herb goat cheese on top and a dash of balsamic syrup, or balsamic vinegar that has been reduced for a thicker consistency.
