Curry and Bell Pepper

A fresh blend of green herbs and flavorful spices goes into our Vegan Curry and Bell Pepper Pâté. Featuring a mild curry and green pepper, this palate refreshing pâté is an ideal summer snack and makes a healthy appetizer.

Low in calories and fat, the Curry and Bell pepper is a vegan spread that contains no animal products or wheat flour. For a delicious alternative to salad, just serve it by the slice on individual plates along with summer fruits, vegetables and hearty breads.

Another simple and delicious way to enjoy Curry and Bell Pepper Pâté is by highlighting sweet and salty sensations. For example, try lightly mashing and spreading it onto a ripe peach or nectarine. The sweet peach flavor is a great contrast to the green pepper and light curry flavors. This combination works especially well as an appetizer or side dish to grilled vegetables or chicken.

Other sweet pairing options include summer fruit preserves and sweet pickles. The vegan pate can easily be spread on slices of green peppers, or the hollow side of celery sticks and served with a side of preserves, pickles or sweet relish. It's great when mashed into a dip for tortilla or pita chips, too!

And to drink?
Serve Curry and Bell Pepper pâté with a dry Sauvignon Blanc wine. Zesty and acidic, it's a great complement to the pâté. The pepper adds an earthy complementary flavor and the pâté's smooth texture is a great match with the wine's refreshing sharpness.
