Pâté Rendezvous: Crisp and Fresh Vegetable Pairings

Spring is here and it's time for warmer weather and fresh flavors. Move over hearty comfort food - zesty and crisp are back in season!

Alexian pâtés are the perfect way to spruce up vegetables and make light, seasonal appetizers and snacks. Try the combinations below and indulge in these ultra-fresh seasonal delights. With a delicious blend of complex, yet smooth pâtés and crisp, juicy vegetables, they're sure to help you savor spring!

- Serve any of our pâtés with crusty baguette, sliced peppers, grape tomatoes and pitted green olives. For an even lighter option, spoon out the insides of the vegetables and fill them with the mousse of your choice or one of our vegetable or vegan varieties. Stuff the olives the same way for a bite-sized treat!

- Our Mixed Vegetable Pâté is a colorful option in itself, evoking thoughts of springtime and fresh vegetables right from the garden. Serve it in simple slices on a plate garnished with brightly colored vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and celery. Add yellow bell peppers for another pop of color.

- Any of our vegetable and vegan varieties pair well with tortilla chips or pita chips. Mash the pâté with a fork and serve with tortilla chips or pita chips for a fresh take on dip.

- Cube your favorite vegetable or vegan pâté and add to a bed of mixed greens drizzled with balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. Add fresh cracked sea salt and black pepper to taste. For a pop of protein, our Pâté de Campagne is a great addition.
