Pâté Rendezvous:
10 ways to relish pâté

There are many ways to savor the delicious flavors and textures of Alexian pâté. Whether simply spreading breads and crackers with pâté or using a flavorful terrine as part of a delicious recipe - the possibilities are endless.

Here are 10 special ways to unlock the flavors of Alexian Pâté.

• French bread spread
For an elegant and tasty appetizer, serve any type of pâté with a fresh baguette, sliced toasted bread. Let your guests self serve, or spread the pâté on the bread or toast in advance and arrange them on a garnished plate.

• Eggs
Whether inside an omelet or on the side of a pair of sunny side ups, Pâté adds delicious flavors to eggs and makes breakfast go from bland to gourmet in no time! Try the Forest Mushroom pâté with a cheese and broccoli omelet.

• Sandwiches
Pâté gives sandwiches fresh, unexpected flavor. Try a simple pâté, lettuce and tomato sandwich – it's a fantastic, no fuss meal or snack. Try making it with our Grand Marnier or Champagne Pâtés. They also work very well as burger toppings!

• With cheese and fruits
Cheese platters are delicious, simple-to-make appetizers that are perfect for parties or snacks. Adding cubed pâté makes a perfect compliment to various cheeses. Country style pâté, like our Pheasant and Rosemary or the Gran Marnier, add complex and delicious flavors to any cheese board, and they also pair well with other items found on cheese platters, such as dried fruits and nuts.

• Stuffed into veggies
Creamy and spreadable mousses can be stuffed into peppers, tomatoes and celery to make a creative and eye-popping appetizer. Try our Sage and Pork mousse inside a red pepper or tomato.

• As dip
Carrot and celery sticks, as well as tortilla chips can be dipped in many types of pâté for a wonderful full-flavored and satisfying appetizer. Try one of our healthy vegetable and vegan pâtés, such as the Tomato Basil, with vegetable sticks for a healthy, tasty snack.

• Tartines
Tartines are mini open-faced sandwiches served on sliced French bread. They make delicious snacks and party appetizers and can be made in just a few minutes. Try the spreadable Chicken Liver Mousse spread on thick bread with a bit of shredded cheddar cheese and tomato slices.

• On meats
Grilled beef, lamb, or other fowl pairs very well with a mousse style pâté such as our Black Peppercorn or Truffle Mouse. Top a steak or filet mignon with a slice of truffle mousse for a truly delectable entree!

• With potatoes
Another simple food pâté can spice up, potatoes can be topped with pâté to make a delicious side dish that goes great with any meal. Try a spreadable mouse - like Sage and Pork or Duck Rillette - on top of a baked potato and the spud's flavor profile will go from classic to sinfully sumptuous.

• With salad
The green veggies in salads are greatly enhanced with a dash of pâté flavor on the side. Our vegetarian and seafood terrines can be diced and served on the top of any type of green salad - A flavorful and truly healthy addition with satisfying textures.
